Eroge – Various Heroines

It’s time for round two of the aniblog tourney! This round is pretty interesting because we’re up against another VN/eroge blog. Feel free to vote for which either blog suits your tastes more ^^.

This post will be all about heroines. We’ll list various categories of heroines and say who comes to mind. We’d love to hear your preferences for the heroines as well. I still watch anime and read manga (occasionally), so I’ll check out stuff with interesting heroines.

Truth be told, this post is just an excuse to show pics of cute girls =3.

And also to show you all some of my fetishes.

NOTE: To make things easier to read, when I use the term anime, I mean manga as well. It just saves me from referring to it as anime and manga all the time.

Aero-ge review: Itoshii Kanojo no Mamorikata

As you may have noticed I’ve been pretty inactive lately, Christmas and New Years made me super lazy >_>.

Another thing slowing me down is the Jet Programme. For those who don’t know what that is, JET stands for Japanese Exchange Teacher. If you look up “JET” in google, the Jet Programme actually comes up first, not the airplane =p. I’ve been writing the statement of purpose for why they should choose me to be in JET. For a guy who has done basically nothing but watch anime and play eroge, I’m finding it pretty difficult T_T.

Enough about that, on to the review! XD

Company: アクセル (AXL)
Game site: 愛しい対象(カノジョ)の護り方
Release date: May 27, 2011
Links: Getchu, walkthrough

Yuuto hasn’t seen Yui for years, but still keeps in touch through letters. He finds out that she decided to go to Military school. He decides this is a good opportunity to fulfill the childhood promise of the two meeting again someday. Yuuto enters the school as a first year student for the guard class. Much the surprise of all the guard class first year students, the guard classroom is horrible. Students share tables, there are no chairs, no air conditioner and not even curtains. He manages to meet up with Yui who’s also in the guard class. The meeting isn’t as touching as one would suspect, where she shouts “WHY DID YOU COME HERE!?!”. The guard class finds out soon that only their room has bad facilities. This school works on a system where you challenge other classes in war activities to exchange facilities. Not only this, the other classes look down on the guard class. With this, Yuuto’s new school life begins.

Aero-ge impressions: Natsu no Ame and Koikishi

First off, thank you all for the kind words for my first review. It was a pleasant surprise to have such a great introduction to the world of blogging. I’ve been getting myself settled into the blog; I’ve put up my eroge list and anime list, give it a look if you’re interested XD.

Following last week’s uplift, I’ll be doing two mini impressions this time. They aren’t as long as a review, so I won’t give an overall score. To give an idea whether you should play the game, I’ve included a “Final thoughts” section.

First up Natsu no Ame

Natsu no AmeSousuke enjoys his school life with Midori, his close friend, Hinako, his old friend, and Kazushi, his best friend. But one day, he meets a girl when he gets home. Her name is Rikako. She is beautiful, but looks cold. His mother says, “This is your older sister.” “My sister?” “My father passed away the other day.” His parents divorced when he was a kid and Rikako is actually his father’s second wife’s daughter. According to his father’s will, she just comes to his place to live there. “You take care of her.” “Me…?” “Of course. She is your older sister, but she is a complete stranger to me,” his mother says. Rikako says, “You can ignore me. I won’t disturb you.” Like this, Sousuke starts living with Rikako…

Blog Update no Sinsemilla

Only I can touch Yaya, in my delusions

The title doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, and the picture even less so, but I hope they gets the message across as I’m trying to do multiple things at once. The blog’s sidebar and static pages have been updated, I haven’t been able to devour Tasogare no Sinsemilla at any reasonable pace, and I’m declaring Takanashi Yaya to be the official mascot of this blog, visible in the eroge page. Micchi can have his Sana, I’ll have Yaya please.

As you can see right from the home page, I’ve made several modifications to the content of the sidebar to the right of the home page. I’ve removed the more or less useless calender and replaced it with the, in my mind at least, much more informative What I’m Doing section. Below that, I’ve added my To-Do List complete with pretty banners of games and charas that I’m planning to play soon; needless to say, right now the list is filled with all manners of imoutos. I call it a to-do list, not only in a vain attempt to be different, but also because it’s a composite of a backlog and anticipated titles; some of the games are released while others are still on the horizon.

In addition to the redesigned sidebar, all the static pages like the about page of the blog are updated as well. No major changes: revised several paragraphs, added some links here and there, decorated anime and eroge pages with pictures of my favorite anime and character, and expanded the names of a few eroges from their contraction in the list.

I have also updated my blogroll to include a more extensive listing of blogs related to visual novels. Granted that some of the blogs cover as much anime as visual novels, nevertheless I feel they are all valuable contributors to the visual novel community. I always welcome link exchanges. If your link is already in my blogroll, I would love that my link be put into yours as well. Otherwise, let me know and we can exchange our links!

On the other hand, the miserable bloke Aedes is still crawling through Tasogare No Sinsemilla slowly; I’ve yet to see the intro movie. Haven’t been playing this as much as I would like due to my recent workload. Nevertheless, a post dedicated to it will be up later this week, if work doesn’t strangle me first.
