Aero-ge Review: Evenicle

I don’t really have an eroge planned f until Primal Hearts 2 in August, so I thought I would write up something for Evenicle. Now this is actually the first time I’ve ever written about a game that has actual game-play, so don’t go expecting too much from me =3

The creator of the world, the Holy Mother Eve, gave two commandments: one must not kill another human, and one must only have one partner for life. However, knights are exempted from the latter divine rule, so that they can produce powerful offspring to fight against monsters. Somewhere in the land, there was a young man Asterisk who wished to marry the beautiful twin sisters who raised him. He decided that he will become a knight and get lots of wives! Thus, he set out on his journey with great enthusiasm and ambition.

Wow, this place has been weirdly active recently. I mean, four blog posts within a month? That’s our yearly quota done =D

Anyway, Smee is one my favourite companies, and I’ve really enjoyed their previous titles. Naturally, I had high hopes that the company would deliver another high quality slice of life game with PURExCONNECT. Did this happen?

Hayato has yearned for a heart-throbbing romance for a long time, but instead is bored wasting away time every day. He wishes to fall in love like in an eroge, but everyone around him just makes fun of him for it. But that’s what every guy wants, right? Is it really so wrong to want such a relationship?

In the middle of November, a small chance appeared when he was asked to work part-time at the popular bakery restaurant, La Pivoine. Finding himself in a situation he never imagined being in, he thought to break free of his current norm. He agreed to work there and acquainted himself with the staff: Sora, his osananajimi who has no interest in falling in love; Shiho, the store manager whose lover is her job; Moemi, the moodmaker part-timer who treasures her family over all; Arisa, his kouhai who hasn’t found her ideal partner; and, Ayumi, his cousin who is still early for love.

Review – Pretty x Cation 2

Surprise! Fuzzy’s back from the grave! I had a brief respite from work and got in some eroge time! While everyone else played the arguably better releases of April, I chose to continue the site’s tradition of Cation reviews with Aero’s blessing. As many of you know, Pretty x Cation 1 was painfully average or a traumatic letdown compared to Lovely x Cation. Some players have probably sworn the series off for good.

However, when I saw the new heroines, the new artist, and E-mote, I thought maybe…just MAYBE…the developers did better this time. So is PxC2 a story of redemption? Or does the cycle of hatred repeat? A little of both!

Sumire Review

Hi aquaspirit39 here! Are you guys surprised? I am. I never thought that I will write another review so soon, but I guess that is the power of a good eroge; it makes you really want to share it with others.

Sumire is supposedly Nekonekosoft 10 years anniversary celebration product and for this reason, the company has included a simple mini games that allows players to visit and interact with characters from their previous game. Unfortunately, since the only other game from Nekonekosoft I have played is Scarlet, I completely ignore this aspect of the Sumire and will not be writing about it in this review. Now that I have gotten rid of that, let us get started.
